The game has been patched to play well on computer since its release on Steam, and it feels alright enough to play, but most other Kairosoft games I feel lend themselves to phone gaming much more than they do on desktop. Because the prompt is based on population, if one chooses the single apartment too often early game, they will not be able to meet the next population quota to activate the next check, thus they will not be able to expand again in the save. Expansion prompts are given to the player based on current population of their apartment building, but no concrete number has been found. When the player expands their apartment building, they have the choice between a few small apartments or one big apartment. I do feel the need to mention that it is very possible and a bit too easy to soft-lock yourself in terms of progression during the game. Mid to late game isn't much better, as the cost of whatever you're trying to buy with tickets gets higher as you buy that item. This isn't the worst system in the world, but makes tickets basically unobtainable early game, when game funds are low and slow to be gained. Buying from the merchant just uses the main currency of the game, but tickets can only be bought once per year. In this version, tickets are gained passively with 15 minutes of game play NOT in menus in the game, so anything that would pause the in-game calendar, or can be bought from a merchant after Year One. On phone, tickets are the IAP that could also be gained from watching ads.

The biggest changes are with the ticket system. This is a direct port of the mobile port, with very little added.
